Mobility for Vigor and Excellence (MOVE-UP)

I. Objectives

1. Provide financial support to enable UP undergraduate students to take courses or do sandwich thesis research work in international Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) specially those where UP has student exchange agreements; and
2. Produce more world competent, well-prepared graduates and thereby provide future manpower in areas needed by the country.

II. Eligibility

• UP Undergraduate Student at the junior or senior level
• Minimum GWA of 1.50

III. Coverage of the Grant

o 1 semester (in exceptional cases 1 year)
o Travel expenses to and from host university
o Accommodation and food expenses (if not provided by the host university)

IV. Application Procedure

Submit to UPLB OIL (CEC Building, next to Pahinungod) the following for pre-assessment no later than October 4:

1. true copy of grades (from the UPLB OUR)
2. parents' letter of consent and photocopy of a valid ID with photo
3. 1-page Curriculum Vitae
4. 2 Letters of References from former or current professors

If you qualify, you will be provided with a list of possible host universities and list of additional requirements (for endorsement to the UP System OIL) like photocopy of passport details, admission letter from the host university and 
1. (for those who will take courses) approved revised plan of study 
2. (for thesis/sandwich program applicants) copy of thesis proposal endorsed by thesis adviser and Gantt chart/work plan of thesis research work/activities
